I've had this yarn for a couple of years now, having bought 13 skeins on sale for $1 each. Such a deal, right? Except when you can't decide what to make with it.
I'm leaning towards the Juliana wrap cardigan, available on the Berroco website, but do I want to be swathed in such a vast expanse of bright pink?
Yes you do want to me swathed in hot sparkly pink!!! LOVE that Juliana warp pattern! If you want to cut the pink a bit, you could always add another color and do a slip stitch pattern. Skinny, 2-row stripes are good too.
ReplyDeleteWhere in the world did you get this yarn for $1 per skein? I want to go shopping with YOU!
I think I'm going to go for the pink. I had considered dyeing it to get something a bit more muted, but that nylon wrap won't pick up the color. Maybe I'll dye a sacrificial skein!
DeleteBelieve it or not, I got the yarn for $1 each at Joann. They discontinued this line so they were blowing out the inventory. Yay for me - woohoo!
BTW, I don't know whether you get out to the Pasadena/South Pasadena area often, but Abuelita's in South Pas is having a sidewalk sale next weekend (Feb. 25-26). You can usually find some great deals at their sales. A couple of years ago I got 10 skeins of Noro Cash Island for $30.
